Mylec Pro Goalie Mask

Old Fashioned Vintage Hockey Mask

Are you looking for an old-fashioned styled goalie mask? I can only guess as to the reasons why:

1) You play hockey goalie and you’re going for that old-school, intimidating look, OR…

2) You Want to Dress up like Jason from Friday the 13th for Halloween.

Well, either way, I think the Mylec pro goalie mask will fit the bill nicely. It’s made out of white hi-impact light weight plastic that provides excellent protection against flying pucks, and also looks remarkably like the Jason mask from Friday the 13th.

I’ll talk about the physical specifications of the Mylec pro goalie mask. It’s made out of strong molded plastic and has five adjustable straps and buckles and backplate to adjust easily to the size of your head. It’s designed to be one size fits all. But the only thing I should note about this hockey mask is that it may not fit you if you have an overly huge head. For most people, I don’t think that will be a problem, unless your Conan O’Brien or something.

Can you actually play hockey with this thing? Absolutely. It was designed for fast and furious hockey action, so it will provide actual and sufficient protection in hockey games. There’s a good deal of foam padding under the mask and, unlike those cheap Halloween imitation masks, this mask protects the majority of your face, not just the front area. The backplate is padded and even protects the back of your head, which is a nice touch.Visibility is good as well. It has that authentic vintage look that hockey goalies all used to sport in the old days, which I think is intimidating as hell.

If you’re looking for a vintage style hockey goalie mask that actually works, you can stop looking right now. The Mylec goalie mask is the one you want. However, if all you want to do is dress up like Jason for Halloween, this mask will pull it off, but you might want to look for a more costume-oriented mask complete with dirt and blood stains. Get the mylec pro goalie mask if you want to play Jason for Halloween and then play a real game of hockey the rest of the year.
